Finally! The audiobook version of The Laconia Incident went on sale here on Amazon and Audible.com today! The narrator is Paul Metcalfe, a British schoolteacher who lives just outside Portsmouth, England, where Robby Cotton, the main character of the book, did his basic training in the Royal Navy. Paul’s native British accent is just right for the narrator of this book, and his ability to give Robby his native Scots brogue is phenomenal. He also does an excellent German, Italian, American, French, and Polish accent – and that covers every other character in the book!
The narration runs some 4-1/2 hours, and might be just the thing to while away the hours sitting at home, waiting for the Covid-19 vaccine to become available. You might even consider giving it to someone for Christmas!
